Plans are comfortable, but more often than not, they're worthless. When opportunities arise, they do so without regard for your well-laid plans.
For example, I planned to give this TEDx talk. A bout of laryngitis that stole my voice, of which I only got back with a dose of emergency steroids right before this talk, had no regard for that plan. Enjoy.
I was thrilled to receive an invitation to speak at the Deshpande Symposium about my work developing university ecosystems as a student. This was my first ever conference presentation - hopefully not the last!
In addition to giving talks about entrepreneurship and how it should - and shouldn't - be used to change our economy, I also write a monthly newsletter on the topic. Subscribe to stay in the loop.
